Every Unique and Set Item revealed for Season 5, including the three mega-rare pieces and the new variant-affix system.
Last Epoch Season 5 Uniques: All 16 New Uniques and 2 Set Items
Season 5 added 16 new Uniques and 2 Set Items, and for the first time EHG revealed the whole list at once instead of teasing pieces week by week. Three deserve a season plan: Gift of the Eidolon, Eternal Font and Death Dance, which EHG calls "much rarer than a Red Ring" and which, since Hotfix 1.5.1.1, only drop in level 80+ zones.

Two caveats: EHG published no drop rate for any Season 5 Unique, and the reveal describes mechanics, not tiers. "Not named" below means the reveal gave no source at all.
Hotfix 1.5.1.1 (2026-10-03): "Eternal Font, Death Dance, and Gift of the Eidolon now only drop in zones that are level 80 or higher." Campaign and early-timeline farming plans are out of date.
Every New Season 5 Unique and Set Item

| Eternal Font | Amulet | Use a potion every second even with none, firing every on-potion-use effect | Potion-proc builds | Level 80+ zones (1.5.1.1) |
| Death Dance | Slot unnamed | Removes the evade cooldown; every evade also uses your leftmost specialized ability, cooldown or not | Anyone who evades; low level requirement | Level 80+ zones (1.5.1.1) |
| Unsated Rage | Ring | On drop, permanently grants 1 of 27 Rage buffs from a pool exclusive to it | Wants one specific Rage buff | Not named |
| Withstand the Elements | Slot unnamed | Picks 2 of 8 variant affixes, each scaling with cold or physical resistance | Resistance-stacked builds | Not named |

| Effusive Oath | Winged helm | Converts Radiant Lance to physical; more damage taken from bosses and rares, but a share of it lands over 4 seconds | Radiant Lance paladins | Not named |
| Scorched Earth | Idol | Converts Summon Tide Elemental to fire; minions gain fire penetration | Tide Elemental shamans | Not named |
| Vestige of Imprisonment | Chestpiece | Hit damage taken bypasses ward; ward generation scales with uncapped cold resistance | Ward and cold tanks | Not named |

The Three Mega-Rare Uniques, With Their Actual Numbers
Gift of the Eidolon grants Haste and Frenzy at once, plus a damage-over-time reduction while Haste is up. The area bonus reads as 40% increased area of effect for area skills while you have Frenzy, and the September 24 tooltip correction states it is improved by increased effect of Frenzy, not Haste. The patch notes also cap the defensive half: that effect is "capped at granting a maximum of 75% less damage over time taken, after taking increased effect of haste into account."
Eternal Font forces a potion use every second, even with an empty flask belt, so it fires every on-potion-use effect in your build. Potion procs already carry caps: the patch notes cap Harbinger of Stars at 200 mana per potion use.
Death Dance removes the evade cooldown and adds a second use on every evade: your leftmost specialized ability in the skills panel. The post is explicit that this includes abilities on cooldown, as long as they are on your bar, and that it attempts whichever leftmost specialized ability is not currently on cooldown. This can end up triggering nearly any ability in the game, and its low level requirement makes it a way to rush campaign on alts.
Variant Affixes: Unsated Rage and Withstand the Elements
Unsated Rage is the first Unique on the new variant affix system: it rolls from a pool reserved for that Unique, and the affix it rolled permanently grants one of the 27 Rage buffs that otherwise last only a single Rage of Morditas encounter. You cannot pick the buff, and EHG says getting the exact one "may take some fishing." Some buffs also trigger new subskills, and the item then shows a tooltip for that subskill.
Four of the 27 were spelled out in the reveal:
| Rage buff | What it does |
|---|---|
| Explosive Rage | 50% increased area of effect for area skills |
| Sanguine Rage | 200% bleed chance and 100% increased damage over time |
| Evasive Rage | Scatters 5 blood runes under nearby enemies whenever you Evade; they explode a second later |
| Icy Rage | Creates a large icy area under bosses or rare enemies you kill and deals damage over time |
Withstand the Elements works differently: it picks two of eight variant affixes, each scaling with your cold or physical resistance. One corrected tooltip reads 1% increased cooldown recovery speed per 8% overcapped cold resistance, up to 200% overcapped, which their clarification defines as 275% cold resistance.
Season 5 added a Variant affix category to the affix selector, so these rolls can be kept or hidden deliberately instead of being buried by an old filter. See where the filter file goes.
Set Items and Other Named Pieces
Caretaker's Regrowth's Entangling Roots now casts automatically while you move and its damage over time stacks; Caretaker's Wrath got no written effect in the reveal. Effusive Oath and Scorched Earth only matter if you run Season 5's new skills, and since both are conversions, check the damage type rules before assuming numbers carry over.
What EHG Has Not Told You
No drop table, no published chance, and no tier ranking exist for Season 5 Uniques. The only levers named are indirect: the Circle of Fortune lens Curiosity compresses Unique and Set weighting, Quality raises average Legendary Potential on unique rewards, and the Weaver Tree node Seekers of Ice and Blood makes Uniques and item subtypes specific to Rage of Morditas significantly more common, at the cost of harder phase-two enemies. Whether that moves a specific item's odds is not stated. Two caps are documented: the 75% DoT ceiling on Gift of the Eidolon, and Morditas' Vengeance coming from Pinnacle Morditas only.

FAQ
Are the three mega-rare Season 5 Uniques better than a Red Ring? EHG calls them "much rarer than a Red Ring" and "truly in their own class of power," but published no numbers for either. Judge them by mechanic, not ranking.
Where do Gift of the Eidolon, Eternal Font and Death Dance drop now? Level 80 or higher zones only, as of Hotfix 1.5.1.1 on 2026-10-03. Before that hotfix there was no restriction.
What is a variant affix? A modifier rolled from a pool reserved for one Unique. Unsated Rage picks one of 27 Rage buffs, Withstand the Elements two of eight resistance-scaling affixes, and neither can be re-rolled.
Can I change Unsated Rage's Rage buff later? EHG does not say. The reveal only warns the exact buff may take fishing, and Uniques cannot be modified in the Forge.
